A Rope in the Abyss Opens

Rabbit Hole Ensemble’s A Rope in the Abyss opened today to great response at the Brooklyn Brewery in Williamsburg.  The show, by Artistic Director Edward Elefterion, is a new play about neuroscience, identity, and what you’re brain is up to when you’re not looking.  Emily is playing the role of Donna, a woman forced to confront the tenuous nature of her own sense of Self when her husband suffers irreparable brain damage, leaving his past and even his present erased.  Emily also assumed associate producing duties on this production, arranging a series of free Brooklyn performances for underserved communities.  A Rope in the Abyss will run at various housing organizations, a hospital, and an assisted living facility in Brooklyn throughout the month of March, before moving to the Blackbird Theatre in midtown for an April run.  Click here for performance details.
